French MP highlights terrorist character of Polisario
Add a brief title

The reports of Belgian lawyer Jean Abboud and president of the "Euro Med Cap" association, Delphine Bourgeois, on the abuses committed by the Polisario, revealed the "terrorist character of the Polisario in one of the last places of the Cold War conflict," said on Tuesday member of the Union for a Popular Movement (UMP), Eric Raoult, at the French National Assembly.

These reports, published recently in Brussels, seem to "prove that the whole truth has not been made on the methods used by this organization," said the French MP, noting that "the popular support of this organization is gradually crumbling."

In their reports, Jean Abboud and Delphine Bourgeois, had described, through testimony and information collected from the victims and their families, the inhuman conditions in which these families were imprisoned in the jails of the "Polisario" and the torture practices they endured.

The Belgian lawyer, who is expected to send his report to the UN Secretary-General in addition to a request to open an international inquiry into these violations, described these acts of "absolute genocide" and "crime against humanity".
