Morocco relies on the clear-sightedness of US foreign policy in dealing with the Sahara issue, Spokesman for the Government, Khalid Naciri said on Thursday, "The stances of the American diplomacy on this issue, notably at the level of the UN Security Council, clearly show that the US administration knows perfectly well all the aspects of this issue," said Naciri during a press briefing in an answer to a question on the upcoming visit to Morocco of US Secretary of State, Condoleeza Rice. 


The American diplomacy "knows perfectly that there are two parties which do not adopt the same positive attitude towards this issue and that only one and a unique party, Morocco, has had the courage and the ability to propose new approaches for the settlement of the issue," he went on to say. 


"We think that the American diplomacy will take advantage of this approach to get this dossier out of the deadlock in which the other parties seek to maintain it,” Naciri said.
