Mohammed worked with the Polisario from its inception until 2000. He served as a political leader, parliamentarian and district head. Mohammed oversaw the census of the population in the camps. He left the Polisario after witnessing corruption and blatant extortion of humanitarian aid. Specifically, Mohammed seeks to inform the world that the international gifts of food, clothing and medicine, intended for the Saharawi refugees in the camps, is actually routinely stolen and sold by the Polisario for the personal gain of its leadership.
